Emanuel Ax returns to the San Francisco Symphony for an incredible program featuring a 'blockbuster' works by Mozart, Beethoven, and Schoenberg which he will undoubtedly unleash his fantastic 'lyrical and lustrous' talents upon.
Also featured is Strauss' tone poem, an entertaining ode to mischievous German peasant folk hero, Till Eulenspeigels, who, as legend has it, travelled medieval Europe playing jokes and spreading whimsy.
