The San Francisco Ballet kicks off the spring season with a gloriously grand Program 1, beginning with George Balanchine's joyful Symphony in C. Soundtracked by Georges Bizet, the thrilling piece sees 50 dancers take to the stage for a sumptuous treat. The grandeur continues with Helgi Tommason's Trio, a gorgeous marriage of luxurious fabrics, velvet and silk, and lush choreography, to a Tchaikovsky score.
The seduction continues with the exciting world premiere of Cathy Marston's Mrs Robinson. Based on the iconic novella, Marston imagines the alluring married woman in what is sure to be a popular new additon.
