Playwright Kimberly Belflower's seven-time Tony-winning show, John Proctor is the Villain, comes to San Francisco as part of A.C.T's 2026/27 season, directed by Jess McLeod in its West Coast Premiere. Known for her relatable themes of growing up in the modern age, Belflower brings the same concept to John Proctor. A stunning work depicting the youth of the modern age that's enjoyed runs on Broadway, and across the country, discover The Crucible in a whole new light as this much-talked about new play comes to town this fall.
