Presented as part of the San Francisco Ballet's 2025/2026 season, you're invited to the ethereal wonders of the Scottish Highlands as the Company display the wonders of August Bournonville's La Sylphide. A perennial favorite, we follow a young Scotsman who is spirited in the fairy kingdom on the day of his wedding. Romantic, technically stunning and unforgettable, it's one of the canon's most beautiful and sought-after ballets. 

Nearly 200 years after its debut,  Bournonville's version of the ballet is the only one to have survived, becoming one of the world's oldest ballets - why not witness this historical piece for yourself?
