The San Francisco Playhouse hosts the world premiere of this brand new play by Claude Jackson Jr, directed by Tara Moses. The recipient of the 2019 Native Voices at the Autry short play festival, Cashed Out follows the story of a family living on the Arizona Gila River Indian Community reservation and the devastation wrought by daughter Rocky's gambling addiction.
What is the story?
After Rocky wins big at the casino, she comes home to celebrate, but her aunt is having none of it - Rocky might have won this time, but she is a gambling addict. She promises to stop, but can she truly change her ways?
