Why see San Francisco Symphony - Dia De Los Muertos Lina?
Lina Gonzalez-Granados Conducts
San Francisco Symphony Orchestra invites you to enjoy the Dia de los Muertos with a multi-faceted celebration of the vibrant Latin holiday, featuring artistic installations in the lobby and, of course, a high-spirited concert! Led by Lina Gonzalez-Granados, the fun-filled performance is curated by Mexican musician, singer, director and all-round advocate of Mexican culture, Martha Rodriguez-Salazar, with Bay Area arts organisation Casa Circulo Cultural on board as artistic partner.
A time to remember and honor dearly departed friends and family and aide their spiritual journeys, Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a Mexican tradition dating back nearly 3,000 years that involves food, arts, music and more, all of which will be explored at this fantastic event.
