Who Are CORTIS?

The band's name is drawn from the phrase “Color Outside the Lines,” reflecting their artistic philosophy of each member contributing across songwriting, choreography, production, and visual direction, forming what they describe as a fully collaborative “creator crew” approach.

CORTIS made their official debut with “What You Want,” followed by an English version featuring Teezo Touchdown. Their pre-debut release “Go!” and debut EP Color Outside the Lines expanded their reach further. The EP also marked one of the strongest debut performances for a K-pop group in its release year, driven by high first-day sales and strong streaming performance.

Following their debut, CORTIS quickly expanded their profile through major festival appearances, award recognition, and international collaborations. Their debut era culminated in multiple rookie awards and high-profile performances at global events, including NBA-associated showcases and televised music festivals.
