The Pulitzer Prize-winning play Liberation will make its West Coast premiere as part of Berkeley Rep's 2026/27 season, following its critically acclaimed Broadway run and multiple major award nominations, including five Tony nods. Directed by Whitney White (If I Forget, Marvin's Room) and written by Bess Wohl, Liberation asks us vital questions about legacy, friendship, and what the meaning of liberation truly is through the lens of the feminist movement from the 1970s to the present day.
