Woodminster Summer Musicals return with this celebratory 75th-anniversary staging of Rogers and Hammerstein's Broadway defining icon, bringing the story of Curly, Laurey, Jud and more to you, woven together by that irresistible score. The first collaboration between R and H, Oklahoma! set the tone for musical theatre for the next several decades and marked the duo as the most in demand and talented in the business!

What's the story?

An upcoming box social is stirring strong emotions among the population of a small Oklahoma town in the early 1900s. Curly McLain has asked farm girl Laurey to accompany him but she has refused, instead accepting the invitation of the mysterious Jud Fry. Laurie's friend Ado Annie is going with her boyfriend Will Parker, but while he's been away she has been seen flirting with Persian pedlar Ali Hakim. On the night of the social, matters come to a head, in a whirlwind of dancing and fistfights.
