The winner of ten (ten!) 2018 Tony Awards, David Yazbeck and Itamar Moses's The Band's Visit will make a stop in San Francisco during the 2021/22 Broadway season following on from its spellbinding, record-breaking run on the Great White Way. Following the story of an Egyptian police band stranded in the desert after a literary mix-up, it's warm, poignant and utterly captivating.

Jersey Boys is the smash-hit jukebox musical that gives us the true, sometimes gritty and always spectacularly entertaining story of falsetto idol Franki Valli and The Four Seasons. The blue-collar boys in the shiny Lurex suits strode onto the scene in 1965, wowing the public for 20 years with hits such as "Big Girls Don't Cry","Oh What a Night", "Walk Like a Man," and many more. But before fame and fortune, comes a difficult, and sometimes not entirely legal, journey to stardom.

The undisputed king of the comedy song goes low key once more as he serves up another outing of 2018's The Ridiculously Self-Indulgent, Ill-Advised Vanity Tour. Hitting an eye-watering 133 venues across the country, the show offers another side of Yankovich and his band outside of the parody song genre. Whilst there may be a few fan-favorite comedy tunes, Al and Co are more focused on playing some of their original material, deep album cuts, and the like.

Directed and choreographed by Tony nominee Casey Nicholaw The Prom features music by Matthew Skylar and a book by Chad Beguelin and Bob Martin, Beguelin also penned the lyrics. Uplifting and extremely amusing with show-stopping dance numbers, this musical is about acceptance and being the star you were born to be!

Opened in 1922, The Golden Gate Theatre is a theatre venue located in San Francisco, CA. It was originally a vaudeville venue, and then became a main movie theater. In the late 1970s, the movie theater venue was restored and became a performing arts venue. The Golden Gate is owned by the theatrical producing company SHN, and has staged many main Broadway shows.
