Starring Dan Ackroyd, Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson and Sigourney Weaver amongst other Hollywood heavyweights, the paranormal adventure begins at New York City's Columbia University, where three goofy scientists are fired from the cushy jobs studying the occult. The decide to join forces and set up their own shop and become Ghostbusters, hunters of spirits, ghosts and poltergeists, with a memorable theme song to boot!
