Two of the hottest multimedia comedy stars this year are joining forces to take their Comedy Festival on tour to 18 cities throughout the summer. Ansari's new book, Modern Romance, released earlier this summer proved to be a best seller and Schumer's new movie, Trainwreck proved a stunning hit with critics and fans alike. The Festival has been credited with launching some of the biggest names in comedy, and this tour will feature a slew of young comedy up and comers.
Joining Ansari and Schumer are a rotating cast of performers that include Nick Kroll, Nikki Glaser, Tim Minchin, Todd Barry, Michael Che, Jay Pharoah, T.J. Miller, Rory Scovel, Dave Attell, Bridget Everett and Rachel Feinstein.
Amy Schumer is infamous for the choice of subjects she tackles in her comedy; whether it be sex, personal relationships or even darker material, she pulls no punches and nobody is safe from her ire. Just ask Blake Lively. She hosts her own comedy show Inside Amy Schumer, which has catapulted her to fame, and made her the most in-demand feminist comic on the circuit today.
