Metallica Celebrates 1 Year Of Charitable Work

Whilst the name Metallica may conjure visions of flaming axes, mosh pits and head banging, the iconic heavy metal outfit have turned their fuzz-laden fury towards more philanthropic pursuits of late, the formation of the All Within My Hands foundation chiefly amongst them. With a primary focus on the creation of sustainable communities by advocating education, eradicating hunger and encouraging volunteering, the organisation opened their doors a little over a year ago, so James, Lars, Kirk and Robert are celebrating with a special one-night-only concert and auction.

All in the name of a great cause, the event is the perfect opportunity for fans to find out a little more about All Within My Hands, its impact, the other charitable causes Metallica supports and what the band have been up to in recent times. The legendary rockers will then round off the evening with an intimate acoustic performance, with support from Kentucky alt-rockers Cage The Elephant.
