As a theatre and film buff, I am always interested in new adaptations of my favorite monster story, Frankenstein. The San Francisco Ballet has done a very thrilling production of Mary Shelly's novel. Combining special effects, projections and great choreography, Frankenstein is a treat for the audience. Sumptuous sets and costumes add to this gothic tale. I was very impressed with the flow of the show and its message through dance. I do think that they could do without the second intermission which puts the show at 2 hours and 47 min. It's wonderful and a perfect show for the Halloween season!
