Perhaps best known for Call Be My Your Name, his exquisitely written mediation on desire, coming out and coming of age, as well as the subsequent Academy Award winning film, Aciman is also a multi-talented essayist, a scholar of 17th century works and currently teaches comparative literature in New York.
