From playwright Keiko Green and director Jesca Prudencio comes this rollercoaster time-traveling play that first transports us back to the heady days of 1999 where Asian American highschooler Ami discovers a shocking secret - her family is responsible for the flavor enhancer - the dreaded Monosodium Glutamate, AKA MSG! Responsible for that delicious taste in instant ramen, but with an addictive kick. Deciding something must be done, Ami teams up with the cool new girl in class to take on MSG and its effects - once and for all.
A riotous adventure through time, expect teenage hijinks and crushes and more as Ami battles to save her family's legacy - and the world!
