GREATEST MUSICAL EVER!

I have seen many wonderful plays, but this one is beyond excellent. I would download the soundtrack first and get to know some of the songs. It will truly add to the experience because 99% of the show is musical.

HAMILTON HAD EVERYTHING

Hamilton was fantastic, the music was riveting, pretty and had a great beat, the dancing was modern and cool and added to the story, the story was historical and told well in a musical theatre way, drama interspersed with humor and romance, and the acting was excellent. Fleshing out the drama in person makes the whole story understandable, and engaging even though it is a fast paced production, filled to the brim with information. Older kids will enjoy, it does have some language and situations that may not be for the under 13 set. We had 6th row seats middle orchestra - thanks John! and they were fabulous. We could see all faces and expressions. LOVED IT! There's so much to watch, between the main actors and the surrounding dancers and singers, you can't see everything at once........I have to go again.

AMAZING!! HIGHLY RECCOMEND

I consider myself very lucky to have been able to actually view this show. It had incredibly talented voice work, acting, songs, and stage design. Great story and a good mix of emotions. Insanely expensive, but worth every dollar.

LOVED IT!!

I'm not a big fan of the Orpheum. But I absolutely loved this show!! Big beautiful voices, beautiful cast, great lighting, interesting stage! I laughed, I cried and sat on the edge of my seat the whole time. I convinced my teenager to go. He went grudgingly, and ended up loving it. Wonderful job! Once my brain and ears caught up to the cadence of the show, it was full on amazing! Thank you! Thank you!

ELIZA NEEDS TO TRY HARDER

I waited two years to see Hamilton in San Francisco. It was worth the wait. I particularly liked the actor portraying Hamilton. The other leads were good or very good with one disappointing exception. Eliza appeared to be going through the motions as her unenthusiastic, indifferent and lackluster performance spoiled The Schuyler Sisters, Helpless and Burn, to name a few numbers delightfully presented by Philippa Soo on Broadway. The director needs to administer a few hitch kicks in somebody’s rear.

YES!

Just saw Hamilton last night in SF and we were blown away! Yes, you need to work a bit to understand all of the words to every song but it wasn’t overly difficult and the singing and choreography was outstanding. It left us in awe of the writing of this play and the acting was superb. Would recommend to anyone and would go again in a heartbeat. Worth every penny.

AMAZING

I read up on Hamilton before I saw the show last evening. I was amazed at the cast and the performance. The audience and I gave them numerous standing ovations. The musical was well done. I laughed and cried, so would recommend others to see the musical.
