San Francisco Symphony - Casino Royale at Davies Symphony Hall

Why see San Francisco Symphony - Casino Royale?

You Know His Name

Marking the first outing of Daniel Craig as the world's most famous spy, the San Francisco Symphony presents this live-to-screen concert of Casino Royale. With one of the most recognizable themes in movie history and a propulsive title track 'You Know My Name' from the late Chris Cornell, this 2006 release rejuvenated Ian Fleming's MI6 agent, adding a grittier component to his adventures, while still retaining some of Bond's most beloved quirks.

Joining an illustrious list of actors, including Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Sean Connery, and Pierce Bronson, Daniel Craig's turn as Bond brought the spy into the 21st century. Somewhat darker in tone than the previous films, there's still that Bond magic, including outstanding stunts, kitted-out cars, and the odd hilarious quip as Bond infiltrates a high-stakes Texas Hold 'Em game with the help of Eva Green's Vesper Lynd.
