Dynamic thought-provoking play--simultaneously humorous and sad. I went last night on a comp ticket. ( I often pay for tickets as well--but maybe I can repay the cast this time by leaving a good review : ). It's still a pricey night with ubers involved so I do what I can.) It's a somewhat complicated story at first--which is rewarding when you see how everything comes together. Creative way to depict online interaction. The acting is excellent and the writing is dynamic and entertaining. It's very well done--they got a standing ovation at the end! The storyline is a glimpse of how our past can affect our future--themes are addiction, vulnerability, friendship, family relationships, struggles, redemption, overcoming adversity, acceptance and forgiveness. I keep thinking about the storyline and the characters--even the following day. SF playhouse is a special place--when I'm rich I'm going to buy season tickets full price to every show--and donate!
