Choreographer William Forsythe sets his celebratory precision rich piece to Schubert's 9th Symphony, demonstrating the sheer talent and determination of the dancer, and the ultimate thrill in carrying out technically difficult steps with perfection. A striking ballet that has wowed continually since it's 1996 premier.

A world premier of this work from Myles Thatcher, Manifesto showcases Artistic Director Helgi Tomasson's commitment to innovative new pieces.


The Kingdom of the Shades from La Bayadere, Act II

Natalia Makarova's 1990 version of this classic work from the legendary Pepita still thrills today. A grand and opulent scene, the warrior Solor is seduced by a dream like world in the Himalayas, where he is reunited with his dead lover Nikiya.
