Drive-By Truckers are an alternative country band which formed in Athens, Georgia, United States in 1996. Currently, the band consists of Patterson Hood (vocals, guitar), Mike Cooley (vocals, guitar), John Neff (guitar), Jay Gonzalez (keyboards), Brad Morgan (drums) and Matt Patton (bass & backing vocals).

The eighties are back as alt-rockers The Afghan Whigs and The Church take the country by storm this summer on a joint headline tour. While this is their first time on the road together, an event such as this is long overdue as the groups have mutually appreciated each other since their early years.
