The summer musicals season continues at Woodminster Amphitheatre, with a full production of Broadway hit, Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Based on the original animated 1991 movie, and more recently the live-action remake starring Emma Watson, this charming and legendary show was Disney's first-ever stage adaptation, premiering in 1994 to near-universal love from audiences. It has won a Tony Award and Olivier Award for Best Costumes and Best New Musical, respectively.
A Favorite as old as time
Featuring all of the beloved songs from the original movie, including Be Our Guest and the title track, the show also includes additional numbers from original composer Alan Menken and musical theatre legend Tim Rice.
