Californian Punk Rockers Fear Celebrate 40 Years of Music
Pioneers of Californian punk rock, Fear celebrate forty years of making music on this impressive US tour. The hardcore punk band from Los Angeles shot to fame after an appearance on Saturday Night Live in 1981.
The performance led them to being known nationally and showcased their hardcore and original punk music style. The band was established in 1977 and throughout the years has seen many changes apart from frontman Lee Ving who has been there from the very beginning. To date, the band has released five studio albums and one live album as well as starring in 1981 adult animated film American Pop, which depicts a Russian Jewish immigrant family of musicians. Currently, the band are working on recording their latest LP, set to cement them as a staple in shaping Californian punk.
