PITY

I felt pity for the hard working and talented actors and musicians.

WORST PRODUCTION EVER OF OKLAHOMA

The cast really sang and acted their heart out. But in my 62 years of being a patron of the arts, this version took away the enjoyment and excitement of Oklahoma. There was so much that could have been done to make this a 'modern' version; however, I felt embarrassed for the cast when the audience was laughing at how bad things were on stage. Just horrible and bizarre!

OKLAHOMA

Saw it at Winspear in Dallas. Years of being a season ticket holder. The worst and I've written Broadway Dallas to tell them. Dance scene, why? Don't know about other venues but we had a stagehand walk on stage with a mask(covid) and take items off the stage during the performance. Thoroughly disappointed.

WORST PRODUCTION I HAVE EVER SEEN

Rogers and Hammerstein are rolling in their graves. There is Nothing artistic about this production. And for the money saved on choreography and costuming, they could have put together a more talented cast. This is not an update of Oklahoma. It is a travesty. Started to leave at intermission. Thought it just might redeem itself. NOT. Wish I had left. Wish I had not waisted both money and time.

DISGUSTING

Absolutely the worst destruction of a classic Broadway show. The producer should be ban from musical theater. I am from Oklahoma and I walked out of the production. An embarrassment of the theater arts. I would prefer to rate no stars.

SIS "ADO ANNIE" IS A BRIGHT STAR IN THIS DARK AND VERY POORLY EXECUTED REVIVAL

If not for Ado Annie, I would have demanded my money back 30 minutes into the show. This dark reimagining is just clips of the original script and additional very weird, not good projections and horrible dance. Do not waste your money. People who get to see this as their first performance may say never go to the theater again

JUST WHY?

My mom and dad had brought me to this show. When the email came out, saying they made it “modern day”, My mom and I did not know whether to be excited or worried. I walked into that theater excited as I had ever been! When the show started, I thought it was so cool with the wall that opens up to be a door. Then, the weirdness happened. My mom, dad, and I couldn’t hear anyone of the actors. Some were dressed in olden day clothes and some were dressed in modern day clothes. I LOVE theater more than anything. And in this production, I felt like sleeping. No set changes, most of the actors looked bored, and then, it got weird. The lights turned out. We were warned of this but, it was just WEIRD. We left at intermission.
