Why See San Francisco Symphony - Zukerman Plays Beethoven?

Beethoven's Violin Concerto

The supremely talented Pinchas Zukerman will be performing Beethoven's Violin Concerto. What was deemed "unplayable" by critics, due to Beethoven's level of virtuosity for his solo violin being almost untouchable, is yours to hear on this spectacular evening of outstanding music.

Also being performed is Ives' Symphony No.4, a piece of rhythmic intricacy considered to be one of Ives' greatest masterpieces'.
