I saw Andre Bocelli in Chicago in 2013. Andrea Bocelli was
amazing. Tonight in Charlotte It seemed like the Andre
Bocelli variety hour. Would have loved to have seen and
heard a lot more of Andre Bocelli.
Disappointed

BOCELLI AND FRIENDS SING SINATRA AND PAVAROTTI...
My first time seeing Andrea Bocelli live, my partners 5th. While there is no doubt of his talents, we both agreed he seemed tired and a little lack luster. The show itself felt odd with the many stage exits and returns with guests. We felt like he was there more to expose other performers than his music.
A duet with Jami Fox?? Seriously??
I prefer his more contemporary pieces, and there were a couple, but it was mostly hard core italian opera. Not that thats bad, just not what we were expecting or hoping for.
By far my favorite part was his duet with his son. The power of their harmonies was the only moment that truly showcased their soul shaking potential.

BEAUTIFUL SINGING WITH UNNECESSARY DISTRACTIONS
Bocelli is undeniably amazing which is why we paid a fortune to see HIM and not some distracting ditsy dancers. Whoever produced this show vastly underestimates his audiences ability to just listen and watch him sing. And really, SF Symphony, The Sound Of Music ?! Why go cornball when you have such a class act as Bocelli?

SEEMS TO START SLOW
I have always loved his amazing voice but last night he started off slow. It was hard to hear him over the music during the first half. The second half was much better and he sang more. He did confess at the end of the performance that he had totally lost his voice and just got it back. Might be the reason he was so subdued.

ANDREA BOCELLI
The concert began late because of traffic, I assume. But, it was well worth the wait!
The baritone had a few missed times snd that was a distraction fir me, but, in a space that size, it could be overlooked by most.
The young lady who play the violin was very talented and pleasing to the eye. I was honestly more eager to hear Bocelli sing, but, realize he needs a few breaks to deliver his fantastic tone.
Catherine Mc Fee ‘s voice is so clear and has a beautiful tone. She was a delight.
As the concert continued after intermission, Bocelli voice became stronger snd he became more animated.
It certainly was an uplifting combination of compositions selected for his encore! The last two,” The sprayer” and Nessum Dorma. It filled everyone hearts and the audience were in their feet instantly! San Diego certainly has an appreciative audience!

BOCELLI SAP CENTER
I wouldn't watch performance like this again - a sports center is an appropriate venue - the acoustics were subpar. That said, everyone gave outstanding performances. Andrea Bocelli's voice was sublime. I am very disappointed that no program was provided nor can I even find a reliable set list from the night's performance. I didn't take notes of who performed - I would love to know the names of the guest performers and I would love a playbill, a libretto, a handout - something that would provided the names of what was sung.

GREAT BOCELLI - UNNECESSARY ADDITIONS
An evening of absolutely wonderful musicians one of the greatest tenors of our time - only detraction was dancers who were an unnecessary distraction - not needed - the man is the star of the show!!
