Why see Angus & Julia Stone?
Gentle and beautiful
Back again and making music together once more, Angus & Julia Stone are gearing up for the release of their new album 'Cape Forestier' this May. Two of folk music's shining stars, Angus and Julia Stone have now been writing incredible and beautiful songs for nearly two decades, growing their fanbase exponentially with each release.
With their sweetly bleak indie-pop-folk sound, the Stones first formed their band in 2006, following the example of their parents, who were a folk-duo in the 1970's and 80's. Previously, they wrote separately, trading songs on each album, but now they write together, intensifying and maturing their beach-y sunset sound, with swelling compositions and honest vocals.
