The Jayhawks were definitely swimming against the tide when they emerged from a crowded Minneapolis music scene halfway through the 1980s. Forging a rootsy sound that wasn't quite rock or country -- "Hank Williams on speed" somebody once memorably called it -- The Jayhawks quickly turned into one of the most important bands of the post-punk era.

Young The Giant

In alternative rock band which formed in Irvine, California in 2004. The band consists of Sameer Gadhia (vocals, percussion), Jacob Tilley (guitar), Eric Cannata (guitar), Payam Doostzadeh (bass) and Francois Comtois (drums).

Big Head Todd and the Monsters is a rock band formed in Colorado. They have released many albums including the album 'Sister Sweetly' released in 1993 which has gone platinum. The band plays a fast paced rock which will have you dancing all the way to the store to get your hands on everything you can on the band.

Gomez are an English indie rock band from Southport. Their first album, Bring It On, won the Mercury Music Prize in 1998.

The Darkness

The Darkness make their return to touring for the first time since 2005. The Darkness released their debut album 'Permission To Land' in 2003 and exploded into the UK's consciousness with a fresh and exciting sound, look and attitude. Playing every show as if they were headlining Wembley Stadium they embraced the classic rock sounds of the 70's and 80's and gave it a unique updated sound for the new millennium. Countless chart hits followed, 3 Brit Awards, millions of albums sales and sold out tours before they called it a day in 2006.

The band features Garrett Dutton, better known as G. Love, Jeffrey Clemens on drums, Mark Boyce on keyboards, and Timo Shanko on bass.
