Transformation is the theme of Jen Silverman's dark comedy of an odd couple seeking prevention. For Iowan Sharon, it's life after a divorce, which leads the Brox-born vegan bad ass Robyn into her life. Taking her as a roommate for some extra cash, Sharon soon learns that Robyn is worlds away from the ladies at her book club and is determined to use her midwestern charm and practicality to figure her out.
A meditation on aging, identity and isolation, The Roommate is a humorous affair that is likely to stick with you long after you leave the theatre.
