San Francisco Playhouse serves up a storm with this sizzling season opener and world premiere from Theresa Rebeck. Concerning Chef Harry and the difficult balance of being a creative culinary sensation or a sell-out, expect plenty of drama and soul searching in the onstage kitchen.

After gaining rave reviews, Harry's intimate eatery is a huge success, with his eight table labour love becoming New York City's most sought-after dining spot. But at what price? between the caramelising onions and the balsamic drizzle tempers are flaring and he sets out to discover if this is really what following his dreams looks like. An intriguing portrait of art versus commerce, Seared is set to be a tasty hit this year!
