From playwright Lila Rose Kaplan comes this darkly comic drama that takes you on a journey alongside three sisters, 1, 2 and 3. When their parents are put in prison for their part in domestic terrorism, the sisters find themselves on the mercy of three separate foster families, where they pursue different hobbies to pass the time before their parents are released. 1 loses herself in history, 2 takes up dancing and 3 decides to document the world around her with video. But after so much tumult, can they really be a family again?
Kaplan is known for writing for young people, and 1 2 3 promises to be a heartfelt show about family and growing up that will likely become a strong part of her repertoire.
