HAMLET
The best play I've ever seen at ACT. Equal to any I've seen in NYC (except Hamilton, but that's apples and oranges). John Douglas Thompson is extraordinary and the cast, almost without exception, is at a uniformly high level. GO

IT'S ALL ABOUT HAMLET
I went to see John Douglas Thompson as the lead. I was not disappointed in his outstanding performance. It's worth the trip because of him. Otherwise, just so so. Some weakness in Ophelia and Laertes. Interpretation and staging not impressive. But then, aren't Hamlet's soliloquies a reason to go? Colibri across the street is a wonderful, upscale restaurant.
