From the North Bay (Golden Gate Bridge)
Take 101 South across the Golden Gate Bridge. Stay on 101 South along Lombard Street to Van Ness Avenue, turn right. At O’Farrell Street, turn left. Stay in the left lane and follow O’Farrell to Mason (eight blocks). The Downtown Center Garage is on the corner, your closest lot to the theatre. Walk up Mason one block to Geary, turn left and the Curran Theatre is a block and a half up at 445 Geary.
From the East Bay (Bay Bridge)
Stay to the left and take the 5th Street/101 North exit. At the exit ramp, veer left onto Harrison and go one block to 6th Street, turn right. Proceed to Market Street where 6th becomes Taylor Continue up Taylor to O’Farrell, turn right. Cross into the left lane before Mason Street (next block). This is the Downtown Center Garage at O’Farrell and Mason, the closest lot to the theatre. Walk up Mason one block to Geary, turn left and the Curran Theatre is a block and a half up at 445 Geary.
From the South Bay
Take 101 North or 280 North. If on 101 North, take the 280 North exit. Exit at 6th Street and take 6th to Market Street where it becomes Taylor. Continue up Taylor to O’Farrell, turn right. Cross into the left lane before Mason Street (next block). This is the Downtown Center Garage at O’Farrell and Mason, the closest lot to the theatre. Walk up Mason one block to Geary, turn left and the Curran Theatre is a block and a half up at 445 Geary.
From BART or MUNI
Exit at the Powell Street station and come up at the Cable Car turnaround (Powell Street). Walk up Powell three blocks to Geary, turn left. The Curran Theatre is located a block and a half up the street at 445 Geary between Mason and Taylor.
Parking
Although street parking is limited, there are many public and private lots in the area. Downtown Center Garage at O’Farrell and Mason is the closest lot to the theatre. Others close by: Taylor/O’Farrell Garage, Union Square Garage at Geary between Stockton and Powell, and Sutter/Stockton Garage.
